Australia's Android Dinosaur Game Trends in Q1 2021

In the first quarter of 2021, dinosaur-themed games continued to entertain and engage users on Android devices across Australia. Sensor Tower's data offers a glimpse into how these apps performed during this period.

Ulala: Idle Adventure, published by X.D. Global, showed a fluctuating trend in revenue, peaking at $15K in late December and again in early March with a slight dip to $6.7K mid-March. Downloads remained relatively stable, ranging from 130K to 330K per week. Weekly active users saw a gradual decrease from 1.9M at the end of December to 1.6M by the end of March.

Jurassic World Alive by Jam City, Inc., experienced a revenue trend with some variability, reaching highs of $5.7K and $4.8K in late December and early March, respectively, but dropping to $3.5K mid-March. Downloads saw a peak of 1.2M in late January, followed by a general decline to 579K by the end of March. Active users showed a similar pattern, peaking at 1.9M in late January and falling to 1.4M by the end of the quarter.

ARK: Survival Evolved, from Studio Wildcard, had modest revenue figures with a peak at $1.1K in mid-January. Download numbers were strongest in mid-January at 639K, tapering off to 412K by the end of March. The game's active users peaked at 2.8M in mid-January, with a slight recovery to 2.3M after a dip in early March.

Primitive Brothers: Idle Game by Gamecafe saw a significant drop in revenue from $1.3K at the end of December to just $90 by the end of March. Downloads spiked at 1.7M in mid-January but fell sharply to 59K by the end of March. Weekly active users followed a similar trajectory, peaking at 2.8M in late January and declining to 849K by the end of March.
